Overview
As part of an academic project, I developed and deployed a full-stack online ordering website for Cece’s, a simulated case based on a small local food business. I handled various roles from backend to frontend development, as well as the UI design, to create a seamless digital ordering experience.
Problem
Cece’s relied entirely on face-to-face transactions and third-party platforms like Grab and Foodpanda, which limited direct order management, reduced profit margins, and created dependence on external systems. Our goal was to design a standalone ordering platform the business could fully control.
Outcome
My team and I built a fully functional ordering system using PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS that lets users view the menu, place orders, and receive confirmations. The project was successfully presented and received strong feedback from faculty panelists for its real-world relevance and technical execution.
